General Class Outline: (Meets Thursdays at 9:30am in The Basement)

 Prayer & Share 9:30-9:45

Opening prayer &  Weekly Fitness Share/Exercise Support Group

 

Warm-Up & Stretching  9:45-10:00       

5 min walk in place warm-up

Seated/Standing Stretching routine

 

Strengthening  10:00-10:20

Free Weights or Tubing

Upper Body:   shoulders, arms, back

Lower Body:  quads and hamstrings, calves

 

Rest & Water Break 10:20-10-30

 

Balance Training  10:30-10:45

 

Balance Challenges:  with chair support if necessary, Standing or Seated Static Activities, Dynamic Activities: gait challenges

 

Tai Chi:  basic maneuvers incorporated into class as time progresses

 

 

 

 
 

Senior Olympics

Recreational Events include:

2k SAS Funwalk, Basketball Free throws, Billiards, Duplicate Bridge, Pickle Ball, Skeet Shooting, Trap shooting

Competitive Events include:

Archery, Badminton, Basketball (3 on 3), Bowling, Cycling, golf, Horseshoes, Racewalk, Racquetball, Roadrace, Shuffleboard, Softball, Swimming, Table Tennis, Tennis, Track and Field, Triathlon, Volleyball
